Option 1: Visit Alowyn Gardens, the award-winning “Gardener of the Year” garden and one of Australia’s most impressive botanical destinations. Covering 7 acres, the garden features a wide variety of beautiful plants. During spring, you’ll see stunning rows of white-blossomed plum trees, and its highlight is the largest Wisteria Archway in Melbourne — a breathtaking spot for photos.
Option 2: Visit the Lavender Farm – a charming estate that bursts into a sea of purple during November and December. Besides taking photos with the lavender fields, guests will have the chance to meet the farm owner and learn about the lavender harvesting and distillation process used to make essential oils and fragrances.
Cherry Picking: Enjoy an unlimited cherry-picking experience at the most famous cherry farm in the Yarra Valley. The trees are filled with plump, juicy, and sweet cherries ready to be enjoyed fresh from the branch. In addition, the farm often hosts a festive Cherry Festival with live music, local stalls, and delicious cherry-flavored ice cream — a delightful treat under the summer sun!
The tour will include cherry picking and flower visits, which vary weekly to ensure the best seasonal experience. Other highlights include:
+ Visit the Chocolate & Ice Cream Factory, where you can enjoy fresh ice cream (at your own expense) and view blooming plum and peach trees.
+ Ascend to Dandenong SkyHigh, known as “the rooftop of Melbourne,” to admire panoramic city views and hear fascinating feng shui stories about the area.
+ Explore the Parrot Sanctuary, where you can interact with adorable, friendly parrots. Many visitors fall in love with these playful birds and find it hard to leave!
+ Return to the pickup point with beautiful memories and stunning photos.
